چکیده

Garden thyme is an aromatic plant with various applications in the pharmaceutical, food, and hygienic-cosmetic industries around world. In this research, field-cultivated plants were harvested two cuts three consecutive stages (pre-flowering, flowering, post-flowering). The essential oil percentage compositions identified samples. antibacterial activity of was measured against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus. antioxidant activity, total phenol flavonoid contents, chain-breaking IC50 recorded. highest (2.56%) obtained from pre-flowering stage. results GC/MS revealed that p-cymene, γ-terpinene, thymol, carvacrol most important constituents studied oil. lowest recorded by second cut at E. S. aureus during flowering stage first stage, respectively. MIC 15.75 μg mL-1 related to had (16.64 mg GAE g-1 DM) contents (2.88 QE (IC50 = 134.05 mL-1) observed It can be said phenological affect activities, as well its chemical characteristics.
